So I’ll talk about on-page SEO. On-page SEO is is quite easy to optimize because you have full control over it. There are several factors that you have to take into account while optimizing your website for search engines.
After you’ve done your keyword research and found your perfect keyword with desired competition and search count, you are ready to do on-page optimization.
The most important is to have targeted keyword in your title. Title is of great importance because it’s the first thing search engines see when they crawl your website. And on top of that, your title is the first thing that shows up in search engine results.
After that comes description. Description is also important because very often people look for additional reason to click on your website in search engine page result. Also, try to include your keyword here at least once.
If possible, try to include your keyword in your URL. If you can’t put your keyword in your domain name, make sure to set up settings to show your post name in you URL. That way you won’t have to worry about it.
Keyword density is also important. Try to aim for about 2-4%. That means you should repeat your keyword 2-4 times every 100 words. But in my opinion, you shouldn’t force keyword density. Let your text flow naturally. It’s better for visitor’s experience.
Put keywords in meta tags. That’s yet another way of letting search engines know what you want to rank for.
Basically, that’s pretty much all. Some factors are more important than others, but basically, it doesn’t cost you anything if you implement all of them.
